We generated a Drosophila resource that enables functional analysis of all SARS-CoV-2 proteins and most of their human interactors in collaboration with Drs. Ethan Bier's and Hugo Bellen's laboratories. Using these resources, we found that one of the SARS-CoV-2 proteins, NSP8, affects the cytoskeletal network by binding to and activating ATE1, an arginyltransferase that modifies Actin in vivo.
